Amelia Boone is one of the most decorated obstacle course racers in history — a three-time World’s Toughest Mudder champion and multiple-time winner of the Death Race, Spartan Race World Championship, and countless other events. She competed professionally while working full-time as a corporate attorney at Apple.

After a series of injuries sidelined her competitive career, Amelia began writing more honestly about sport, suffering, eating disorders, and the complicated relationship between identity and performance. What started as race reports evolved into something harder to categorize and more worth reading.

She now writes Race Ipsa Loquitur on Substack — personal essays on what it means to push past limits, fall apart, and figure out what comes next.
